Debbie Gau, PTA
Healthcare has been a central part of my life for most of my adult career. My experience spans acute care in hospital settings, long-term care, and more than 30 years in the fire service, where I provided pre-hospital emergency medical care to my community.
When I retired from the fire service, pursuing a career in rehabilitative care felt like the natural next step. I returned to college and earned my Physical Therapist Assistant degree, graduating during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the past five years, I've had the privilege of helping patients regain strength, restore function, and return to the activities they enjoy most.
I enjoy building meaningful relationships with my patients and believe that compassionate, individualized care is the foundation of successful rehabilitation. Helping people improve their quality of life and achieve their goals is what makes this profession so rewarding.
